Civil War letters of Edwin Alldritt, 1861-1864, and undated.

Ten letters documenting the military career of Edwin Alldritt, including a letter written to his brother Samuel Alldritt and an undated letter fragment written by Wm. A. Leamans, and two other undated letters; together with five postal covers all addressed to Joseph Alldritt in Excelsior, Hennepin County, Minn. Although not included in the item count, the collection also includes photocopies of numerous army documents including various muster rolls and other company rolls, a physical description of Alldritt from the regimental descriptive book and a volunteer enlistment form (21 Dec. 1862) when he apparently reenlisted.
